I know NOTHING about cooking. I know I have to boil the pasta (according to instructions at the back).
But then what? Do I just add it all together in one big pot? Do I need to add any oil or salt?
How long should I cook it for?

Also, how much sauce for a 100gm of pasta?

There are no instructions on the pasta sauce jar. That is the problem! :(

Do you not have any scales to weigh the pasta?? If not a few handfuls will do. Put it in water and boil for around 12 mins. take one lil pasta part out and wait for it to cool down then give it a nibble. If it tastes soft and done then take the pasta off the boil drain in and drizzle a little bit of olive oil, salt &pepper in. Then put the sauce on the boil for as long as it says (adding salt, pepper or spices if you think it needs it) then wait for that to boil. Put pasta in a boil and add the sauce. You can mix it together if you like or just leave it on the top of the pasta whatever your preference. Lovely served with a sprinkling of cheese (especially parmazan) on top and a small glass of red wine.

cook pasta and spoon on top some heated pasta sauce!

or you can ....

Cook pasta in large pot with lots of water a little olive oil and some salt.. Be careful not to overcook. You can poor off the water to stop the cooking process. If you leave pasta in hot water it will continue to cook. If I really want to stop the cooking process I dump the pasta in a drain (colander bowl) and quickly run some tap water through it.

Cook up some meat (ground beef or sausage, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms garlic (or whatever you like). until done and then add the pasta sauce. Taste, add salt if needed. My family like spicy things so we may add a can of tomatoes and peppers (RoiTel?)

Put your pasta in a plate or shallow bowl, spoon some sauce over the pasta, sprinkle on some graded cheese (whatever you like) and service with a salad and a great glass of red wine.

This is my receipe... change it how you see fit.

Add water to pot. Temp on High.
add salt to water.
add pasta.
add garlic powder to water.
water starts to boil turn temp to Medium heat.
stir and let cook for 10 more minutes.
drain all the water.

while above is going on.
take out a skillet and set temp to high.
put italian sausage in skillet. break it up before you put it in skillet.
stir until all the meat is brown.
add a little salt and pepper with some onion powder if you have it.
once all the meat is brown; drain the grease.
add all of the pasta sauce to the skillet with the meat in it.
cook on Medium heat for about 10 minutes.

Once the pasta has been drained from the other pot and the sauce/meat have cooked put all it in the pot that the pasta was in. Stir. Add a dash of salt, pepper, garlic powder and oregano. Your done.
Two things about cooking... one make it yours everybody cooks differently so you really cannot mess up. two have fun with it.

This is hard! Follow package directions on the pasta. Follow jar instructions on sauce. Together they will make you a dinner...a no brainer.

well,
to make pasta you have to drain it in a strainer to get the water out.
and then you add sauce, but im not sure about how much.
just add however much looks reasonable.
