I'm trying to lose 60 pounds.

my doctor said to go more days than you dont. i go 4-5 days a week and work out for 45 minutes each time

4 if you want to lose that much, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.... Then after you lose that much remember to still go to the gym at least twice a weak, i would recommend Wednesday and Sunday.... or Tuesday and Friday....
Oh, if you just started going, hmm, i would go from 2 days gradually going to 4 days.
