I am an American citizen living in Europe. I've been to the website to order my free credit report but it always tells me that I must be in the US to do it. Am I going to have to wait until I visit to do it, or what?

If their firewalls can tell your computer overseas from that which is physically here, then you have no choice.

They are really trying to protect you from a serious source of identity theft.
Follow the procedure to submit a request via US Mail.

Do you have a trusted family member you could give the info to and then they could email it to you? Its geolocating your IP address.

If your missing things from home you may be interested in a mail forwarding service www.bongous.com is one. google mail forwarding and you will find others.
