One one hand, Jews say that they always had the land until they were taken captive for 400 years to Egypt. On the other hand, Muslims claim they have been there thousands of years. To whom does this land belong?

It belongs to God. God says it's the home of the Jews.

God gave the Holy Land to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and Jacob's name was changed to Israel. Only the Jews have a God-given deed to that Land. The Muslims know this because it is in the Quran, but the Muslims hate the Jews and continue the fighting. The Muslims were involved with Hitler against the Jews. Esau sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of soup. Ishmael was Abraham's illigitimate son but Isaac was the favored son and a gift from God to Abraham and Sarah.

God loves the Islamic, Muslim people and God even told Hagar and Ishmael that He would make Ishmael a great nation also. God told Abraham that He would give him a son, but Sarah and Abraham did not wait upon God. Because Abraham did not wait on God and listen to God, there has been a feud between Ishmael's children and Isaac's children for ages. We are suffering today because Abraham did not wait upon God. We are all brothers and sisters, but until Christ returns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords there will be no peace in this world.

Biblically, it belongs to both.

The Muslims claim descent from Ishmael.
The Jews claim descent from Isaac.

BOTH are sons of Abraham and the "Holy Land" was given in the bible to the "seed of Abraham"......

Biblically, there were no Muslims in the time of the Bible. The religion of Islam was started in the 600's. The Bible was canonized about two thousand years earlier.

Jews. Genesis 28:13 (Jacob's dream): "And behold the Lord stood beside him, and said: 'I am the Lord, the G-d of Abraham thy father, and the G-d of Isaac. The land wheron thou liest to thee will I give it, and to thy seed.' "

Muslims, decedents of the Canaanites, if the story is taken seriously. But remember, this is only textual. Anthropological data also says the Hebrews came later. In any case, Israel is an occupying force on Palestinian land. The US should not support people who's only claim to the land is religious (separation of church and state).
