I want to get rid of them but not kill them. I don't want them near my house.

the problem is that every day I had to clean the mess that they do at night, they catch rats from other places and bring them to my porch.

Don't put food out and they won't have any reason to come around anymore. It may take them awhile to get the point since you have already given them food. I also have 11 feral cats that come to my house but I happily get them fixed and feed them. It would be nice if you were able to keep putting food out for them.

If the cats are tame, you can take them to your local animal shelter for adoption, or ask any of your animal-loving friends to adopt one (or more). Just make it a condition that they have to get them fixed ASAP...otherwise it just continues to contribute to out of control pet population which isn't good for people or cats!

If they're feral (wild), there are organizations who run feral trap and spay programs. Your local animal shelter can probably put you in touch with some local agencies/organizations that can help you out. The most important thing is to get these cats spayed/neutered so you don't end up with eleven more!

Can you touch and handle them in order to catch them? Look in the phone book for no-kill shelters or call animal control to see if there are any in your area. Thank you for feeding them to keep them alive, but 11 is too many. If all else fails then you will have to have the pound pick them up. If you can not handle them they will have to put out traps in order to catch them regardless of whether it is a shelter or the pound. Best of luck.

Taper off on the food gradually, then discontinue it. I'd still leave a water bowl out, so many cats have no safe water source. They won't hang around because of the water, they drink and leave.

It's not expensive to feed 11 cats, I go through one 18 lb bag of dry food a month. Is there a personal reason you want to stop helping them?

You've been feeding them, they're yours... If you want rid of them please contact local rescue or humane society organizations. They may be able to help you. Poor things, they bring you gifts and you don't appreciate it! LOL
