Hi there I was a Soldier who served 23 years I finished Oct 06. I spent the last 12 years in the medical field. i can tell you there is no such list as this would cause wide spread panic and even open litigation avenues due to media, a soldier whilst serving is under strict orders not to endulge information to the press so if a list was available the media dogs would be at the individuals families door after a story. You may get different answers but believe me you will not find the info you require.
All the best

I agree with the soldier5577 above. There is no such list that exists and if you do end up finding one, I would take it with a grain of salt that it probably is fake. Personally, my husband was severely WIA and I know many men that were wounded so I know this list does not exist. If he was severely injured someone may have started a Caringbridge website for him. (www.caringbridge.org) Click more ways to visit then type in his name where it say Carinbridge site in the box site name. Military cannot give out names of the wounded for privacy issues, unless the wounded themselves sign a release form for any media fuctions (ex: news stories, articles, etc).
Thank your friend for his service.

Unfortunately there is no such list.
The UK MOD website has a list of the number of casualties, but this hasn't been updated for a while, and it contains no names.
Its strange that some people don't think our troops get wounded out there. They know how many have been killed as it is mentioned on the news when another poor serviceman/woman has lost their life, but not about the thousands of wounded, some of whom are disabled for life.

I wouldn't count on it.
Firstly, there's a privacy issue - the names of killed soldiers are released, but privacy hardly matters when you're dead. It's more of a tribute for an ultimate sacrifice.
Also, there's just too many to list. Try copying out half of the names on the Vietnam Memorial... you'd be there for weeks.

We don't make public the names of those who were wounded. It's Federal law. Specifically the Health Information Privacy Act (HIPA).

for obvious reasons that information is classified. only the close family of the soldier will get that info. and only!! the info on their own! family member. no member of the public gets a list of the wounded.
