his coller can stay on for 5 months, but I havn't seen any fleas latly and he's worn his for about a month and a half

Take it off. Those things are like a poison necklace delivering poison to his system for no reason.

Flea collars only keep fleas off of the area they touch (the neck). Front Line Plus is the most effective way for keeping fleas off and lasts for three to four weeks. I would defiantly recommend removing the collar.

Take the flea collar off and NEVER put another one on him!!!
OTC flea products including flea collars are worthless and can be very dangerous.They can cause skin irritations/burns, neurological problems, seizures and death.
I can't tell you the number of pets we see at the hospital every year that have been seriously harmed by these type of products.

I'd take it off. Flea collars don't work at all. Get some flea medication like Frontline or K9 Advantix. It works much better.

Throw it in the garbage. Over the counter flea collars are dangerous and toxic to your dogs.

Take it off and throw it in the trash.... Its the same thing as spraying toxic chemicals on his neck. Btw they dont work anyways.

Leave it on.
Although you may not see any fleas, they are still existent in the outside world. Each time the dog goes out, he is at risk to pick up a flea (or more).
I would actually suggest keeping a flea collar on the dog year round, as there is always the risk of picking up a bug or egg at any time.

Freedom is right! You know they can make you sick too! Get some frointline it works much better than those toxic things!

take it off they dont work worth crap anyways. all they do is put unecessary poisons in ur dog's system
