Something that we would teach it when it's still a puppy and if it doesn't get walked in the afternoon, it would resort to using the litter box.

y do u want to train ur dog to use a litterbox. all u r telling them is that it is ok to pee and crap in the house. dog litterboxes and puppy pads were invented by lazy dog owners who were too lazy to get their butts up and let their dogs outside. dont be a lazy dog owner.

Yes, I've heard of a corgi being litter box trained. Personally I'd just house-break it and not worry about the litter box thing. How long are you planning on leaving the dog alone? Adult corgis should be able to go around 9 hours without going to the bathroom.

i doubt you could get it to use a litter box but I bet you could train it to a puppy wee wee pad. Ours actually trained himself to use the puppy pad...

crate training is great my dog that's in the house will not pee or poop in the house no matter how long we are gone
