By Unchurched, do you mean unbelievers in Jesus? If so, try this excellent website for biblical evangelism. www.WayOfTheMaster.com

Leave them alone. You've already labeled them (the first step in dehumanizing another person is give him/her a label). Let them come to you. But then what do YOU have that they might want in their lives? I am an "UNCHURCHED" and all the Christians I know and live near and work with have more conflicts and problems in their lives than I would care to consider. And, judging from the number of them taking anti-depressants; engaged in sexual acting out; and lying to themselves and each other I can't see how being "CHURCHED" is helping them .

Unchurched?

Well I guess you will have to start by going to their house.

But you reached me and gave me an interesting term to look up.
I am now considering a move to Oregon.

Just follow Jesus. If you are living according to His teachings, people will see something special in you, and they will want to know more about you.
Sooner or later, the little light you reflect will lead them to the LIGHT, which is Jesus Christ.
Don't try to push your religion on other people...folks are ultra-sensitive to that sort of thing right now, and who can blame them?
Just be a Christian...not just on Sunday, but every day, every minute of your life. If you're just warming a pew once or twice a week, why would anyone want what you have? But if your life is an act of worship...then you will draw people to Christ.

It really is that simple.

The unchurched? The damned? The 'hotter than hell' club?

I suggest you don't. We value our privacy and freedom not to be harassed by religious groups.

I am tolerant and welcoming with everyone I meet. I express an interest in their views. When I am asked a question, I give my own poor answer, but it is usually taken with understanding. You may never know how your example might, at least, mend a break in the walkway that stretches between two people and allows them to come a little closer together. I am content with that.
C. :)!!

I am not quite sure of your question, but I think that is you are trying to proselytize to people who are not Christian then you should try to go about it in a way that would fit in to that persons life style. Their music, their likes and dislikes. If you just go around and tell people that they are going to go to hell if they do not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior then you may only reach one or two people in you entire life. Treat them like they are intelligent human beings who may not see things the way that you do and that you want to convince to believe as you do. Imagine that you were working at a coffee shop and every Sunday this woman came in and preached to you about God and the gospels and how good her God is and that you are going to hell for not going to church and being a Christian. Soon when you saw her you would cringe and try to look busy. So try to reach people on their levels.
Good Luck!

Go where they are, speak like they do,
Oh, and treat them like equal human beings with views on the world just as valid and important as yours.
Including on church and faith.

Any conversation which in fact or by implication starts "You're wrong" is almost always doomed.
