Never tried coke and vodka! I like it on the rocks, but it's also good with orange juice, cranberry juice, or orange juice with a shot of Galiano liquor (called a Harvey Wallbanger).

Just about any tart fruit juice (cranberry, orange, grapefruit, pineapple). Tomato juice/v-8. Kahlua. Kahlua and cream. Coke and vodka sounds horrible.

mhmm straight rum is how i do. but chasing with Mountain Dew code rew is SOOO AMAZING :D i also love chasing smirnoff with fruit. chasing with fruit always helps me. but like you, i prefer my alc straight and to the point.
