So, there was a Baptist preacher, a Methodist minister, and a Catholic priest, all sitting together on an airplane.

A pretty stewardess ask them if any of them would like a drink.
The Methodist minister replied: "yes, I'll have a gin and tonic".

The Catholic priest replied: "yes, I'll have a bloody mary".

The Baptist preacher in a fit of rage said: "I would rather commit adultery, than take a drink!"

The Methodist minister spoke up: "You mean we have a choice?, I'm changing my order!"

Hehehe, nice one. Maybe you should consider it taken. Don't get surprised to see it in one of the sections here.

I don't plan to betray my man, adultery is out. I don't drink alcohol, so drinking gin and tonic is out. But I like the fact that I'm Methodist and would have to check with my minister if he's not the one..^^^))))

I don't believe I would do either since I am past that part of my life where small trivial mundane worldly naughtiness is fun anymore. What about wing surfing or I've always wanted to try flying a Jet-pack. Does anyone really know how to have awesome fun. There is loads to do in life besides Drinking and sex and the Christians here ought to know better. Shame on you. Naughty people. Hey, God and I are going sky diving tomorrow anybody with me? If I make it I'll see you tomorrow, If I don't I may or may not see you in heaven.

I went to a university that also has a Methodist Seminary. Believe me, the Methodist ministers and ministers-to-be can party.

I think that is funny although I did not think Methodists were meant to drink any more than baptists.

Who am I commiting adultery with?
LOL liked the joke.

Actually I wouldn't commit the adultery... although I hear even just thinking about it is a sin...so ooops my bad.

The drinking part...heck no problems with that part.

You got a chuckle out of me, no small accomplishment these days. Thank you.

Personally, I hate alcohol and I love my wife. If forced to choose, I would rather gag down the booze than betray my best friend and partner in life.

if it was a forced choice, the drink. No way would I cheat on my hubby! I don't drink either, so the drinking wouldn't be fun for me, but the consequences would be less for the drinking, so the lesser of the two evils I guess.

the trouble is that if one does not stop at the single drink, adultery is still a possibility

An oldie but a goodie.
The first time I heard this, my preacher told it from the pulpit during his sermon. LOL!
Thanks for posting.

Go with God.

I laughed.

I'd rather have a drink, THEN commit adultery afterwards. Maybe several drinks.
