Ever heard of Agloco? Agloco is a global economic network incorporated under the laws of Hong Kong and growing fast recently. Surfing the internet for 5 hours a month, you can get paid estimated $150. After sign up, you download the free viewbar software, a tool of saving time on your account, and enjoy surfing the net as usual. Simple and flexible work. The time will be exchanged for cash. To make more money, it depends on your effort how many friends you refer and how much time you are given by them(maximum 1.2 hours for each). Agloco has the referral system in order to build the community bigger and faster. The bigger the community grow, the more money you make. People who have joined Agloco, including me, believe that Agloco will be the revolution of the internet. Agloco never asks you to pay or buy anything and sells your personal information which means NO RISK at all and nothing to lose. Free to join, no fees ever required, no investment, and no need of credit card and specific career. When the beta open period is finished soon, the payment will be given once a month. If you are interested, click the source link that explains how the system of Agloco works in detail.

Pretty much all of thre "work from home on your computer" ads are scams. The exception is if there is something you did before in an office that can be done at home, particularly if your former employer is willing to hire you to work at home.
Otherwise, you'll mainly get scammed out of your "signup fee" - if it were a real job, they'd be paying you, you wouldn't be paying them. Some say you need to put down money to prove you're really interested - that sure sounds a lot like the old pigeon drop scam of years ago.

I personally know of two legitimate work from home companies. The names are West and Live-ops.They both involve taking inbound calls for Direct Response orders. You know the "As seen on TV" ads and infomercials that pretty much flood our channels. Well, most of those "shop at home"orders and customer service calls are directed to contractors who work from home not a call center. As a contractor you would be your own boss, setting your own hours and while fulfilling a contract through West or Liveops.
All you need to get started is a separate telephone line (a land line other than your home phone, with no added features) and a personal computer ( no Macs ) that meets certain system requirements.
These are definitely legitimate companies. I have a coworker and friend who contracts with West part-time. During the holiday season last year, in two weeks she made over $600, by activating Virgin Mobile Phones from home part-time(a couple of hours per day). She also has a relative that works with Live-ops as her full-time job and loves it.
For more info just visit each company's respective website.

Hope this information helps.

The simplest and possibly the best is sell something on eBay. Sell some old souveniers or home made cookies or anything.
After you understand the process and acquire a digital camera, tell your neighbors and friends. Do a local listing and fulfillment service.
Finally, contact local businesses. Help them sell overstock items. Tell the salvage yard that you can sell Volvo airbags.
If you have a hobby or can specialize, that's best.
You could sell anything from Barbie dolls to baseball playing cards. Go to weekend swap meets and look for popular products. When tourists visit your area, what do they buy?
Good luck,

I have a question for you. Have you tried any of these ideas? I am in the same shoes as you are. Place a note if you have tried anything or not. I'm also researching and I'll definitely let you know if I actually find anything.
