Obviously these lifeforms were before Noah's flood and the earth like a green house. Revelation 21 says the recreated Earth will have NO oceans:

Revelation 21:1 "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was NO MORE SEA."

Have you been there personally yourself? Or do you have a scientific website to cite that there are no tree rings? All the sources I could find, both scientific and casual, mention the fossilized tree rings in petrified forests from all over including the big petrified forest in Arizona which would have had the same climate as New Mexico, as well as new Mexico, California, Wyoming, South America, Antarctic. I have quite a few chunks of petrified wood myself and they all have rings. So is this a special place in New Mexico that isnt known?

Doesn't mean there won't be lakes and streams, might even be a huge swamp. There are time when scientific research serves the truth better than bible, which was not even compiled until 400 years after christ's death. I saw a show on the history channel called " How the Earth was made". Its on again tonight. Keep in mind mind the bible ( 's ) say that Gods days are not as mans. A day to God might a bit longer. The truth will be known through the passage of time.
