If your a good person and do something a little mean to someone, will you get bad karma? How much good in the world do you have to do to get good karma in return? Or is it on a case by case basis?

I thought Karma was good luck/bad luck lol.
Personally I don't believe in luck. Things just happen. Bad things happen to good people, good things happen to bad people, and to me it's not a case of luck, it's just something that happens.

Every action (Karma) good -or bad has a positive or negative marking respetively. They get superimposed(Adyaasa) on the Aatman(Soul)At the end of life Paapa saamyam =Karma balance is worked out and depending on the net Karma positive or negative, Heaven or Hell is decided. But afew more chances (re-births) are given to erase the negative and increase the Positive Karma

Actually if you do something bad to someone, that someone is going to do something bad to someone else or you and so forth until it reaches you. That's karma.

It all depends on the chain of reaction.
Doing good and knowing you did good, relieves yourself.

So doing a good action is doing a good thing for yourself.
