My father just passed away 1 month sept 25 and unfortunately it would of been his 59th birthday. I am verry sadden by this and I need confort and try to go on with life without this constant grieveness. I have 3 beautiful children one being 3 months old, I was blessed that my father was able to see and hold my only daughter before his death. Any words of confort from anyone dealing with death I would really appreciate it. I am trying to be strong and show no weakenss with friends since many of them don't have a real idea what I am going through and I don't feel that they are really helping me unfortunately.

Losing a parent is the hardest thing we have to go through in this life. When my mother died, i was so devastated. I miss her very much and sometimes I will get sad out of the blue. Take comfort in the time you had together, the things he taught you and you will now teach your children because of him. Keep his memory alive in your heart. Most of all take it one day at a time. There is no set time frame when you "have to get over it" Remember he is always with you in your heart.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Your father will always be in your heart and I'm sure he knew that you loved him. Spiritually, he's always going to be around you and your family.

hey rene..

my dad died when i was little boy and he was the best thing i had. i still have a hard time with it and its been 12 years. but the one thing that keeps me going is talking to him. i know a lot of people think you can't talk to people who have passed. but i get a lot of comfort by talking to him.
