I couldn't find a scripture myself, however, there is a website you can look at (or google in: loved ones heaven see recognise and you will get a bunch of websites). I think we will see our loved ones in heaven. I don't think the bible talks about marriage in heaven. That bothers me too as I love my husband so very much. We have to have hope that whatever is on the other side is so glorious that we will just accept what God has for us there. His plans are much better and much grander than we could ever imagine. All we have to go on is what we have experienced on earth. I am sure God has something wonderful in store for us.

Yes, it is true that we won't remember the things of this earth when we go to the next earth (Paradise). However, don't think of it as love wasted; rather think of it as everyone having that same kind of love that you had for your mother, boyfriend, etc. for everyone else. Isaiah 65:17: 17 "Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. In Paradise all will love each other as Christ loved; unconditionally and totally. Your capacity to love everyone will be enormous; not just for a select few.

I don't know the details of heaven. I read a book a few years ago called, "90 minutes in Heaven" by Don Piper. He was in a terrible car accident and died at the scene and went to heaven for 90 minutes. He tells in this book how heaven looked and sounded. He saw his grandfather waiting for him. It was very interesting. After 90 minutes he came back to life and was rushed to a hospital. He was and still is a pastor of a church.
If interested; you could probably get the book at your library and read all about it.
I think we will know the loved ones who go to heaven. We probably won't remember the ones who didn't make it. I don't know how that part is worked out. God will take care of the details in a way that we won't mind at all. More details are in the book.
How this man came to come back to life was also very interesting.

Somebody told me we would recognise each other in heaven, but not have any relationships like we had here on earth, i.e. husband/wife, brother/sister. I guess it makes sense, because we will be in a spiritual state and although this does not make much sense now, perhaps we will understand it then. I do feel like you though. It has taken me so many years to find a good partner, I want to know who is when I'm in heaven!

i'm not really sure if we'll know them. it's been awhile since i've that part of the Bible. but i don't think you'll still be married. in the wedding vows it says "until death."
and think about it-what about the people who have had their spouse die or something and then they remarry? polygamy is a sin. there's no sin in Heaven. so if they're still married in heaven, who is the person married to? their first or second spouse? God gave you your wife to love while you're here on earth. when you're in Heaven, the things of this earth won't matter to you. don't worry about it. even though it might not seem llike it, you will be happy 100% of the time in Heaven, even if you're not still married to your wife.

Yes we will see and know our loved ones including our wives in heaven. What our lord is refering to is that there will be no sexual relations between man and wife in heaven . This was an answer to the Herodians who were trying to set Jesus up. The scriptures that confirm we will know who people are in heaven are these.
Matthew 8:11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread. And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live? But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me. 2nd Samuel 12:21-23
So David will go to his son in Heaven

I'm unable to find the passage right now, but the Bible DOES say we will know each other in heaven. But the troubling thing is, we may all be unisex!! And, as far as I know, there's never yet been a documented sighting of a **female** angel. The Bible makes no mention of the possiblity that two genders exist in the next life.

Can you show me in scripture were this is stated.
First you need to show your love towards God, he sent your wife to you and if that is all your interested in, then you have no faith in God. you will know that person in heaven but you will not have those feelings of love for them up there. Your fleshly body has that desire for a woman and family but your spirit is of God. Your body will not inherit the kingdom of heaven but your soul will.
DO THE WILL OF GOD
You need to find a home church, be obedient, follow his word, be baptized with the holy spirit, show your self approved and do the will of God (Mark 16: 15 - 18)

You will be together, but not in the sense of a wife or husband or mother or father. You will be related by God as one of his children as you are here on earth. and it will be ecstasy.
I have my parents and many relatives in heaven that I look forward to seeing again. The feeling of love will be more than you ever felt on earth.
I also have a Baby Angel who was premature at birth and died. And I so look forward to holding him. It will be beautiful.

You will. You will pray for them and for everyone too. You will be perfect.
Not only do those in heaven pray with us, they also pray for us. In the book of Revelation, John sees that "the twenty-four elders [the leaders of the people of God in heaven] fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints" (Rev. 5:8). Thus the saints in heaven offer to God the prayers of the saints on earth.
Angels do the same thing: "[An] angel came and stood at the altar [in heaven] with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne; and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God" (Rev. 8:3–4).
Try asking a saint in heaven to pray for you. They will hear you.
