I would paint "city loft" by Sherwin Williams. It's a gray/beige, and it would work perfectly to highlight the darker furniture.

Now, you have a lot of neutral tones in your room. I would add some color with smokey blue drapes, throw pillows, area rug & artwork.

How about a light caramel color? That would look nice with the brown. The white and black are neutral colors. Too much brown will makeyour room darker and smaller.
Go to your favorite paint store. There are tons of different colored paint chips. Take them home and put them next to the furniture and the floors. Narrow your choices down to say 3-5 of them.
Your paint store should can mix a quart of the lightest color. Then, they can also give you the mix in colors in tiny jars.
First, paint a square, say about a foot by a foot. Mix in the next color tint very well. Paint another square and repeat this with each mix in. This way you can see which really looks best in the room. You might want to paint matching squares on two different walls so you can check the lighting in the room on each of your color choices.
You may have to purchase more than one quart depending upon the base and the add in tints.
I had to do this with some yellows to get the right shade of creamy, buttery yellow. The best thing about taking the extra time to do this is when you get your color picked out, you can paint the room once and get it right the first time.
Good luck and have some fun with this! What a fun project for you.

Wow, you really a lot of choice available to you. First off, do you have any other pieces in the room with some color? Like art, pillows, a favorite piece that will be staying in the room? If so, use that in conjunction with your new furniture pieces to create your color palette. Or your "jumping off" point for color choices. If not do you know you style? If you're still not sure, maybe send me a pic of the room or the furniture and I can better help you to make an educated decision.

And if all else fails, look back to the sofas, if it has white and black stripes in it, I would assume that the "brown" you are referring to is more of a taupe color (a Grey-brown). Use that as your wall color. However, as a general rule of thumb, if the brown in the sofa appears as the dominant color in the room, shy away from also using this on the walls as you don't want your furnishing to melt away into the walls. Does that make sense? Hope this helps and again feel free to send me a pic or ask for more clarification.

Colors that go with all:
pink
peach or melon
banana or lemon
mint or jade
lime of grass green
aqua or turquoise
sky or smoke blue
lavender or purple
vanilla or caramel
off white or gray
Drapes or curtains should be one of the upholstery colors.
Repeat the wall color, or brighter version of wall color; in throw pillows, small accessories like lamps, vase/flowerpot, ornaments, and candles/holders.
Use brass or chrome for metal frames, holders, etc.
Add potted plant or tree; real or silk.

The floor and couch are good, the coffee table is fabulous!! You could do orange on the peach wall and a cappuccino on the other walls and ceiling!! It's a great space!! Maybe vertical blinds on the patio doors? But with the valance, it's chic. The couch could use some accent pillows in oranges and greens.
