Hi everyone
Having trouble finding how these forms (cometh, goeth etc.) were pronounced. Was it like [kamith] or [kamth] and [gouith] or [gouth]?
Sorry for the invented phonetic transcription but I guess you can see what is meant behind it.

Two syllables in the case of the words you gave.

I am sure that pronunciation varied.

But note that Shakespear uses 'th at times, indicating on those occasions a shorter form is intended.

kamith is the right way of pronouncing it .
