The fellow over the road told me that until he was 30 he was very shy and had no girlfriends. Then he sold his soul to The Devil and from then on lived for 40 years a totally hedonistic life of wine, womem and song. Last week he has joined the Catholic Church, rejected Satan and all his works and expects to be welcomed in Heaven with rejoicing as a repentant sinner.

Sold his soul to the devil????? you watch to much tv if you believe this and as for rejecting the satan and all his workd and joining the catholic church if this really worked don't you think we'd all do it????

Genuine repentance leads to forgiveness. But it is not wise to leave it so late....many expecting to find Salvation at the 11th hour do not make 10-30!!

That would be between Him and God, there's no test to be sure someone is a true Christian, although the Bible says 'by their fruits will you know them.' This means Christians should be recognisable by the way they live their lives, in kindness, gentleness and all those lovely things.

Yes he has, I'm pleased to tell you but lucky for him he didn't get knocked down by a bus 2 weeks ago.......I would recommend you not to follow him in the way he lived his live.

Nobody actually manages it. Only God can open your eyes to the truth. Ask him if he believes that Christ is God. That will give you some sort of answer.
