My architect is designing a higher and wider than normal sized exterior door for the front entrance of my house. I would like to find out where I can have it custom-made in Australia. What will be the cost including delivery to Perth. The door shall be of hard wood, mahongany, tasmanian oak or other recommended hard wood. Apart from its unusual height and width, its thickness has to be commensurate with its size. I do not mind if some old doors (classical design) that can be modified to suit my specific requirements.

Your phone book is a good place to start.
Cabinet makers, custom furniture makers, etc.

You don't give the exact size, but DO plan on spending at least $6000 (USD) on it. Mahogany and custom building are not cheap.

If you have amish people in Australia, they can make you the most beautiful wood doors, cabinets, railing etc....
My kitchen cabinets are made of solid hickory I picked out myself. Made by the Amish.
