Religion should be called "I'm looking for answers." Just like science.

absolutely not, although many people think they know more than you. There are many religions and branches of Christianity, but everyone thinks they are right even though they come from many different teachings and faiths. They all can't be right, but since all is based on theory, they could all be wrong.
Why would God or Jesus allow so many countless branches and interpretations of the bible keep growing? Christianity is not the worlds largest faith or only faith, but once again every individual think they are correct in there beliefs.
Life is so brief, we will find out soon enough.

Religions are a dime a dozen. Faith is personal. The amount we know is the amount we yield to God. Wisdom only comes down from above.
If you feel others (believers in God) act as though they know more than you, it may be your own insecurity. True believers have no desire to hold themselves higher than another. But true believers also understand that there is much to learn and so they ask for wisdom from God. God says, if you ask for wisdom, I will give you more than you even ask for. Wisdom is nothing to be afraid of - especially since it comes from our Creator God. If you feel 'less than', then I encourage you to do what those people did - those who seem to annoy you, seek a personal relationship with Jesus. Study his word and get to know His plan for His creation. After all, alll things are under His control. Remember, He is the Creator and we are the 'created'. I wish you good will as you seek better understanding so wisdom can be yours.

Religion can be called any name it or you likes.
Spirituality is spirituality - is love - is appreciating life - is honouring life, life is all that is on this planet and in this universe.
Try to know a little bit more and a little bit more.

No, but perhaps those who choose to continually point out the errors of a person's religious ways should be. It is best to leave the acceptance of faith and/or religion to a higher power.

There are three types of people, those who follow a religion based on God, a religion based on human claims (science), and then those who try and follow logic (a mixture of both).
People like to split it all up into two, but Darwinism is a religion, too, because there are gaps in the science of evolution, and filling in those gaps takes "faith." If a science is not complete, believing in it is a faith.

You hit the nail on the head, Gasp. that's what so many people try to do. Instead of trying to really be with God, they are busy showing others that they are closer to God and know more about God than anybody else. I expect one of these experts one day to pop up with God's cell phone number.

Abrahamic religions are like that, yes. Many of the other religions, especially Buddhism, are not like that at all. If you prove a Buddhist wrong, he/she will be glad that you gave him/her some food for thought. Buddhists will welcome questions.
EDIT: (for a poster below)
"Darwinism" is NOT a religion. Pick up a book sometime.

No, that is typically atheism. Most of the atheists I have seen here seem to think they are the smartest people in the world and that religious people are just stupid.
Too bad they prove the opposite in most of their posts.
