What is karma?
Karma means action (and the consequence of it in the future eg a reincarnation). Good deeds create good karma, and bad ones bad karma. If you win the lottery for instance a Buddhist might say that you were good in a previous life and therefore deserved (or better "earned") it.

What is meditation?
Meditation is focusing the mind on virtuous thoughts or images. First relax, then calm the normal thinking down to a standstill by clearing the mind and letting it be still, and then try for instance to generate compassion for the suffering of animals - and hold that thought to let it sink into your consciousness. Meditation for you. It is like mind control and training.Another thing might be picturing Buddha's image in fromt of you for ten of twenty minutes, thought by some to bring good luck (or create good karma). Another might be to focus on the shortness of life, and then the need to do as much good as possible.

What is reincarnation?
A Buddhist belief shared with Hindu's that we all have previous lives and are due to have future one's too. The body does not reincarnate, but the soul of the animal, human or other being. The nature of one's rebirth will be determined by deeds done in the past (karma).

What are Buddhist Scriptures?
The Pali Cannon is the original set of scriptures, thought to relate the teachings of Buddha (Siddharta Guatama), but some buddhists of today rely on more modern works composed in the lasttury or a few centuries ago.
