A Mallard is a species of Duck!(Anas platyrhynchos)it is the most widespread Duck in Europe,these are the Ducks that frequent most of the ponds in our Parks and rivers.A Drake is the Male of any species of Duck! In most cases the Drake is the most coluorful.of the species.
