Well, the key to losing weight is more to do with chewing than anything else.
Several bad things will happen to you if you go ahead as planned.
Some of what you chew is going to get swallowed as saliva anyway, and most likely the fats in the food. This is the part of the food you are trying to avoid. Also, the vitamins and nutrients you want from the food are going to get spat out.
Let's say you decide to chew and spit 2 meals and eat a third. By the time you get to the meal you intend to eat, your brain will have told your body that it's in starvation mode. When you do swallow food, this meal will be converted straight into body fat.
Secondly, the taste of the food in your mouth is going to stimulate acids in your mouth and stomach. These are the acids that break down the food. If there's no food, the acids are still there trying to do their job and they eventually start to break down the nearest thing to food they can find - your stomach and digestive tract. That means you end up with stomach ulcers which are intensely painful. Think of severe period pains ... all day - every day.
Yes, you will get very few calories, but you will be getting few to no vitamins and nutrients either.
If you really do want to shed some weight and quickly, do this...
•When you are hungry, eat. Never let yourself get to the point where your hunger is making you feel uncomfortable. You're looking for that normal feeling of hunger.
•Within reason, eat whatever you want. Obviously, chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner isn't going to be good for you unless you really have a hankering for lots of spots. Choose a combination of what you like, what you can afford and a bit of something in the mix that is good for you (green veg, carrots and fruit for example).
•OK, this part is very important. Chew each mouthful for ages - at least 20 or 30 times (I chew around 60 - 80 times) - before you swallow. As you chew, enjoy the flavour of the food. If you're not used to chewing your food this long, you be surprised at how different the food tastes.
•Between each mouthful put your knife and fork down. If it's a sandwich, put it down while you chew.
•Equally important, when you feel full, STOP EATING. You do not have to clear your plate.
OK, so what does all this achieve? First off, the longer period of chewing starts to break down the food and begins to process the vitamins and fats in the food. When the food hits your stomach, the acids there have a head start, because the saliva has started work and the longer chewing time has broken the food down into more manageable pieces.
The other important thing is that when you are full, it takes a while for the message from your stomach to get to your brain informing it that this is the case. Ever noticed that sometimes, you’re really hungry and you gobble down your food and you might still feel a bit hungry, but 10 minutes later you feel absolutely bloated? That’s because of the time it takes for that message to get to your brain. By eating more slowly and taking your time, the message gets to your brain before you get the chance to overeat.
If this all sounds a bit silly, just observe people eating when you’re at somewhere like McDonald’s. Look for someone who is thin and watch how they eat. They probably put their burger down between bites and chew for ages. They may read the paper and leave the food for quite a while between mouthfuls. When they bite, they probably take small bites. Now look for someone who is fat. They will never put the burger down and they bite chew twice and swallow – sometimes they shove more food in before they swallow what they already have in their mouth. Some will use one hand for the burger – the other for fries. The thin person will take around 15 to 20 minutes to eat the entire meal – most likely longer. The fat diner will be done in 5 to 10 minutes.
If you start eating this way, you WILL lose weight – and not just a little bit of weight, but lots of weight. You will be restoring your body’s natural weight balance. And because it’s something you make a habit of doing, it becomes something that lasts for the rest of your life. It’s NOT a diet. You don’t punish yourself. You don’t end up spending every day thinking about your next tiny meal. Eventually, you stop worrying about your weight because it’s no longer an issue.
I was fat. I was very fat. Now I’m not. I lost a huge amount of weight to begin with, then it slowed down. But my 6 month goal was to fit into a leather jacket I bought back in the 80s – not to be able to wear it out, but just to get myself to that size again. I made it in 3 months. Now it’s just a little too big for me, so I’m getting close to my right size. All that in fewer than 17 months.
If you feel you need a bit more help with this, ask your doctor about a drug called Xenecal. This prevents your body from absorbing the fat in food. I tried using this before embarking on this chewing plan and it did work, but only to a limited degree. I lost weight without it, but if you want to make a good head start, Xenecal may help.
The fact is, when you want to lose weight, you need to see results or you become discouraged if you don’t. This method produced the results very quickly (within a week – honestly) and I didn’t feel hungry at all.
There is a book. It’s called ‘I Can Make You Thin’ by Paul McKenna – yes … the hypnosis guy, but this has nothing to do with hypnosis. You can get it for £7.49 at Play.Com.

The suggestion of an obedience class is an excellent one. Read here https://tr.im/05juU
It will help your dog learn to behave around other dogs, and help keep your training moving forward as you'll want to be prepared for the next class. Also, a good instructor can be a wonderful resource, someone to help you with any questions or concerns about your dog. Leash training can take a LOT of time and patience, depending upon the dog. I'm not sure what you mean by 'horrible on a leash' but my basic suggestion is that you take a lot of yummy treats with you on walks. When your dog behaves well on the leash (not pulling) praise her and give her treats. Change direction a lot so that she learns to pay attention to YOU and where you are going. It's also helpful to teach a "Watch Me" command such that whenever your dog looks at you you praise her and give her a treat. About chewing, yes a Kong is a great chew toy. Some dogs also like Nylabone brand bones. I suggest also teaching a "Leave It" command. You use this when she shows interest in chewing on something she shouldn't. Then immediately give her something she is allowed to chew, such as the Kong stuffed with somethig yummy. This same command will be helpful on walks when she wants to sniff or eat something she shouldn't. Again, when she does leave the item alone, be sure to give lots of praise. I would look into an obedience class right away. I think that you'll find that a good obedience class can help enormously! Good luck and enjoy your new dog.

You take in all of the calories in the external parts of the food that sneak it's way into your digestive system. And it's a horrible way to lose weight. Your metabolism would slow down due to lack of food intake, and that's what burns fat. So it's not a good idea based on that, and the million other problems that arise when you develop an eating disorder, physical and mental. If you need to talk feel free to email me.

You already know never to help skip breakfast, but it's also crucial to eat within an hour of waking to further improve your metabolism.
