I don't really understand how e-bay works. So, lets say i want to bid on an auction. I made a PayPal account, and i have a credit card. i click on 'Place a Bid' button, and than what happens? The money from my credit card is transfered to the buyers credit card/or bank account, and he sends me the object? And making a PayPal account is free? NOTE:i want only to buy things, NOT to sell.
Thanks to everyone who answer.

Both are free for the buyer (Sellers pay small fees to sell).
PayPal you open an account. They will deposit a small amount of change to your bank account and you tell them how much it was and that verifies your account belongs to you.

eBay you open an account. Bid on what you want and if you win you pay the person and the send you what you bought. You can check people's feedback to know if they safe to buy from (Best we can, not 100% perfect, but, it helps). People can leave feedback for both buyer and seller. It best to maybe put a few auctions into your "My eBay" and then watch best how they do it and learn.

At the top right of the eBay page you see links for "buy, sell, etc."
Click on buy and you may see this;

They have plenty of info for you to learn.
