I have a lot of dreams where the sea is rough and rising and it always washes over the building i'm in. I have a fear of water. but i never get wet in these dreams, it just surrounds me where ever i am, and i'm always in a glass building or a place with alot of windows so i can see it crashing around me!!!
any theories?

I'd guess you have a fear of drowning in life. Maybe life is a bit overwhelming sometimes and the building symbolizes a safe place... a place where you can be isolated from the chaos around you. I also would guess that you fear at any moment the chaos will break through.

Perhaps it means you feel like you can't get away to a place where you feel secure like you're on solid ground. A fear of loss of security.
