Ive had feelings like this and its not about the food really with me its about feeling in control. You seem to be on the start of a slippery slope to a major eating disorder. Its obviously the beginning because you can still tell that these feelings are irrational. I would advise you to seek help now before these feelings become normal because then things will be so much harder. Make an appointment to see a doctor who you have a reasonably good relationship with ( if possible) and above all be honest. Don't worry about looking or feeling stupid - doctors are not there to judge they are there to help. Godd luck...

Hi Diamond. It sounds like you are in a bit of a cycle here. You want to avoid food and feel miserable, then you dont eat or make yourself sick, then you feel miserable because you are doing this to yourself, which in turn will make you want to avoid food. I know the cycle because I was in it myself 10 years ago. Firstly, you can stop this and it can get better. I cant really comment any further without knowing some details, such as age, how long its been going on etc. I was stuck in the cycle for 3 years before I finally faced up to it. It sounds crazy, but i never thought i was 'ill' enough to ask for help...thought you had to be 5 stone or something if you were to be classed as having an eating disorder. The fact is, the weight was never what i needed help with. I dont want to comment any more as I dont want to trigger any thoughts or actions in yourself, but please know that you are not alone and there is always help out there. You can contact the eating disorders association for a start, http://www.b-eat.co.uk/Home . My thoughts and prayers are with you. Blessed be.

You probably should see your doctor. First off, it may or may not be an eating disorder. Before you freak out there are many digestive and blood sugar problems that can cause these physical symptoms. Sometimes allergies to additive in food can cause immediate swelling and/or fluid retention, the most popular being MSG. It's possible it is mental, and you are one step ahead by recognizing it. But, it's also very possible you are having an alergic reaction to something. People can even have a reaction to wheat gluten in bread products. Either way talk to your parents and go to the doctors where they can diagnosis you. But make sure to talk to them about possible allergies if you are sure you are not having control issues with food and a want/need to be thin.l

Listen to me very carefully and please take in every word. I know what i'm talking about as i've been there! If you continue to live the way you have been, you wont do so for very much longer! You are probably already suffering from bad stomach pains, loose bowels or none at all, your periods may be slowing or stopped, your hair is thinning, your teeth are crumbling, you're tired all the time, you have no energy, you are snappy and miserable with those you love. What you are doing is starving yourself to death !!! Now you may not WANT to die but pretty soon, you'll have no choice in the matter! Your internal organs will start to shut down causing immense and irreversable damage, the pain will probably kill you alone! You will probably have a heart attack and IF you survive the first, you will NOT survive the second! Trust me love, you are killing yourself, slowly but surely. You NEED to see your doctor urgently and tell him or her exactly what you've told us here. He or she will refer you for pyschiactric treatment and you must go, they will help you all they can. In the meantime drink some build up drinks, available from your chemist, they will do you some good whilst your doctor is sorting out appointments for you. Good luck to you, please stop doing what you're doing, you're hurting everyone who loves you!

You have problems.
Think that food is your life savior. Eat healthy, stop eating junk food. Healthy food give you healthy hair, nails and skin condition. If you get active, then your thighs or whatsoever will become smaller than before. Get going and do some exercise!!!

Sounds like the beginnings of an eating disorder. See a doctor or therapist.
And try and eat something - try eating fruit. It is refreshing and won't make you feel fat - and doesn't make you physically fat. So give it a try! I have a similar problem myself. xx

You need to go to a good Pentecostal church and get any evil spirits and strongholds rebuked out of you. Better yet, call this prayerline. Their number is 9182581588. Tell them what you are struggling with and they will know how to pray over you. Call them as often as you need to. Also, speak Psalms 139 everyday and Psalms 91. God bless.

You need to talk to a professional about this. You are beginning to get a eating disorder. Go to see your doctor, who will be able to tell you what to do. Don't worry, there is plenty of help and understanding for you out there.
