Dead Man I wish I could give you an answer that was 100% truthful and real. But there are so many reasons that there is not just one simple answer. Some people believe that they are moving up by cheating. Some feel that they are not getting the same love and respect that was once in their relationship. Others may cheat because their spouse has done so and so just want to balance out the books and get back at the cheating spouse. Sad I know but we humans as animals are just so not monogamous even though that is what we attempt to be when we first get into new and exciting relationships.

I have never cheated on someone i love, i have cheated in the past, and i am not proud of that, however that has been with people that i have not been that serious with, and that is still wrong!- but never with anyone i have genuinly loved.
If someone cheats - people can say once was a mistake - but i dont believe in that if you genuinly love or even just care for the person you are with you shouldnt be able to do that xx

I think it is because they are just plain greedy and inconsiderate. That breaks down to what the other guy listed.
There really is not solid REASON why people cheat, but it just pretty much based on the fact they really don't care about the one they love.

Thats a good question i was cheated on before and I think the reason is that Well i hate to say it but is because they either don't like u or they are tried of being wit u and think ur boring or for girl guys are just players if they do that well tell me if u think that it helped all ?!@#

i ask myself that all the time. like if you love someone why go and be w/ another person. if you want to be w/ someone else tell your partner, right. and you'll hear ppl tell you they cheated on someone and you'll ask why, they're like its complicated, what the hell is complicated about it, during that whole 1hr+ not one time did you think, wait i have a b/f g/f, and this is wrong and i will regret it. i think ppl who cheat are idiots.

Greed,Envy,Opportunity,Heartless. Some people do it out of spite. Some people its past relationships that makes them cheat.
Its not fair, but its true.
