I'm not dating this guy anymore, but I'm still on his organization's mailing list--the organization helps disabled people. I've donated there since I've known him, but now that we broke up, I'm feeling hesitant about donating. Am I being self-centered? I thought about not showing up in person but donating online anonymously.

unless you find a cause you wish to donate to more, keep donating to this but not anonymously - you have nothing to be ashamed of and if you decide to keep giving money after this then you especially deserve credit! you have the right to feel good about giving money to this and make it clear that this guy doesnt influence your decisions.

If you know the that they use the money for the good of the disabled by all means keep doing it. Don't let personal feelings being the reason you stop. You are bigger than that. We donate because we want to help right.

Don't let him influence whether you continue to donate or not. He only works there - the money is going to a better cause. I think you should be the better person and don't let him get to you (I know, easier said than done) and keep donating - and not anonymously.

Of cause you should still donate if you wish. You are donating to the organisation not the ex boyfriend. If you don't feel comfortable turning up then by all means donate on line.

If you believe in the cause, and weren't donating just because you were dating him, go ahead and donate online. Breaking up with someone doesn't mean the need isn't there anymore.

Do it for goodness sake!!! Helping out is always good, do it for charity because you believe in the cause. Choose to donate anonymously.

It all depends if you really believe in their cause. If you do then I would say donate. If you do not then I would say do not donate. Leave the guy out of the equation. peace

then find another organization. There are plenty of other things that need help. A little self centered but maybe this was also the time the universe wanted you to help another cause

The money that you donate is not going to benefit him, it goes toward people who are disabled.
