DHB Photography said Quantaray lenses are not good. "I actually worked at Ritz many years back and have had experience with the lenses; I strongly advise against getting a Quantaray lens".

I've owned a few thrift shop Tamron lenses and while they worked okay, they just didn't have the quality that you find in a Nikkor or even a Sigma for that matter. Also, I bought a few Quantaray filters for my dSLR because they were inexpensive. They were terrible and I have since sold them.

I had a Tamron that I did not like, and I have one that I like a great deal. There are lots of sites that review lenses, just Google and you shall find.

i own 2 tamron lenses find them to be top quality.
