yes, it has happened to me so many times. and some people think im lieing, so i rarely tell people i cant really trust, because sometimes they need to have it happen to them before they can believe it. sometimes it can be something normal, like something obvious, something you do everyday and it isn't that big of deal, but other times, it can be something completely random, and nothing you knew would happen. it feels weird when it happens, but not bad, kinda like, wow, isn't that odd?

It is possible, but unlikely.
If the dream is about something very trivial then it is likely the first part of deja vu (or technically deja vecu) and when you actually live the event out it feels like you have already been there.
The human brain is a wierd thing and there are still many things that we don't know about it. I listed some further reading.
Have fun!

It is very possible that you are indeed dreaming about things before they happen. Wait! before you dismiss me as a quack listen to the evidence. Psychologists believe that a persons dreams are actually your mind thinking of certain possibilities. Some plausible others impossible. It just so happens that the possibilities that you dreamt actually happened in reality. "Dreams are a gateway to the soul. If you understand what they mean you will understand how the universe itself works." Anon.

If it's a prophetic dream from God. It happened with Joseph and Daniel and others. It's happened to some people I know personally. Yes, it can happen.
