I take Zoloft 200 mg for depression. Perhaps your doctor needs to increase the dose or change medications. Also, he may be able to prescribe an anti-anxiety medication like Xanax or Ativan that would calm you down so you can focus on work and so you can sleep. Good luck!

It takes a couple of weeks for Zoloft to take affect so if you just started give it some more time. If not, try again. With me Zoloft worked wonders but only for about 6 months. Many times medications need to be reevaluated, adjusted or changed. I can't count how many medications I tried before Zoloft. I've been on Paxil now for about 15 months and I feel so much better. It not only helped with the debilitating depression but also my nerves and social anxiety. Talk to your doctor, OK, sweetie. And know there is help out there. As for the boyfriend, you could be so attached to the warm feelings he's gave you that you are afraid to death of losing them. Don't be, OK. Love will come again and again and from the most unusual places. Good Luck! and if you need to talk you can always e-mail me. lol= lots-of-love

This is not what you want to hear but; you have to let go and move on. Don't start crying and wailing, "But I Love Him!!" Because, no matter how much you love a person, if they don't love you back it's pointless.
All of us ( me included) have wasted our time, effort and emotions on: somebody that we thought we couldn't live without, life would not be the same, I'll never love anybody again..etc.etc..etc.
But the truth is, time heals.
If this was a healthy relationship you would not be an emotional wreck. Pick up the pieces of your heart, go by the health food store and buy a bottle of valerian root to take the edge off your nerves, then get a boyfriend that is crazy about you.

you might have a certain depression...like i was watching this show...mystery diagnoses or somthing....wutever!! this lady was hurting all over, she had been to lots of doctors, and they could never solve her pain, neither could the pills, the pills that they gave her wouldnt work....so she eventually came to this one doctor, and he said that she has some sort of depression, the type where your body aches...
also have you seen those commercials, where they are trying to sell you some type of medicine...and it starts off like somthing like this....." Depression hurts"...and it talks about this medicine that is available for ppl.....
Maby this is what you are experieceing ....im not doctor...just an 18 year old, that should be studing for an ap test right now!!!

You will be well if you get connected with God.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him. Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation, and qualifying us to Heaven. Just come to Jesus with genuine repentance and faith, and you will find peace, hope and meaning for your life. Heaven is wonderful beyond descriptions and forever without end. Never miss Heaven for anything of this troubled world. Life on earth is short and uncertain. Get right with God before it is too late. Best wishes for happiness and Heaven! (www.spiritlessons.com)

If you are this upset over a break up, then you might consider talking to a therapist, hon.
You can also do a yahoo search for SURVIVING A BREAK UP or LIFE AFTER BREAKING UP
take care of yourself... and see your doctor first...
