why are toilet paper squares made so small?

most people use 3 or more squares of these sheets.. so why do toilet paper companies keep making them so darned small?

This is the funniest question I have ever seen posted here. Probably because some people use more toilet paper than others, so they don't know where to make it tearable.

You could be really creative and NOT keep it in its original tubular shape. You could slice it down one side and have a flat square and shape it into anything you want. Or you could spiral cut it in a long piece (very skinny strip) and twist it, knot it, braid it. make a bracelet our of it , paint it, hang little charms from it. NOBODY else would probably make jewelry out of it! Or, make a little book cover and put post-it notes inside, paint it, add beads, stickers, etc. Reshape it into a box and put dried navy beans and put letters on them to spell out a secret message so the opener had a riddle to figure out. Use the flat version of the roll and make a picture using dried leaves and tiny flowers, rocks, sand, etc all glued down and spray it with flower scented perfume. Go crazy!!

Some people use very little if it's really thick so one square could, in theory, be enough!

SO AS*HO*LS IN THE BAR WON'T LOAD UP ON IT WHEN THEY ARE DRUNK AND CLOG THE BAR TOILET SO I HAVE TO CLEAN IT. OR .BABIES AND KIDS, LEARNING TO USE THEM WON'T MAKE A MESS ....MAKE PAPER COLLAGES ON THE CIELING AND WIPE AND FLUSH BETTER.......
