Is it possible to prevent medication allergies?

I've had a few and I hate the lasting effects, is there any way to prevent them, or should I just be careful to notice the signs of an allergic reaction?

You should be careful, as they say avoidance is the best solution for allergies.

You'll just have to be careful. There is no rhyme nor reason to allergies, so there is no way to actually prevent them.
