I need to have conversation with someone who has, or who is presently, going through dark hard times. This someone should have experience with dark, difficult spiritual issues, that is, how to trust God in the midst of such times and prolonged attacks. This someone must believe in evil and that the devil is attacking on a spiritual level today. Only such a person will be able to relate to what I am going through and hopefully will talk with me, maybe be my mentor as I resist the presence of hate in my life. Where do I find such a mentor?

What's happening to me, the police don't believe me, "friends" don't believe me, pastors don't believe satan can be this hateful. How will you believe me?

Go to your place of worship, if you have one. Ask around and try to find somebody you trust.

If you don't have a place to worship or friends whom you trust that much, coming here is a good place to start. It'll sure get you a wide audience. If you pick somebody from here on YA, interview him/her thoroughly and find a person you can really trust with whatever is going on in your spiritual life.

Well, I'd qualify on the first one, someone who has gone through some very dark times indeed. And I have had experience with some very dark spiritual issues. But I don't believe in either God or the Devil as actual conscious entities, but as representations of more abstract truths. You seem to have a lot of qualifications for this mentor you seek which would indicate a compassionate priest or rabbi would qualify. Why not start there? Or if you specifically want to avoid organized religion, try the Salvation Army or some other open-minded organization. There are liberal, non-judgmental religious people all over, but they are not necessarily all that obvious.

You might find a "New Age" bookstore would have some recommendations.

Good luck to you.

Your local church/synagogue/mosque (or whatever is the religious establishment of your choice).
Nobody is more qualified than the priest/rabbi/imam (holy person of your choice) to give you the spiritual guidance you're obviously craving.

If you trust a virtual person from a public forum you might end up with Charles Manson as your mentor, probably not what you're looking for. We can all of us be anybody we choose to be on the internet so I'd stick to the real people associated with the local establishment of your chosen faith.

I have went through some difficult experiences, but it's because I believe in Allah, and that I accept whatever He has for me that I always got through it. Allah never puts anyone in any sort of difficulty that He knows they're not able to handle. So whatever your hardship is, you can handle it.

Edit:
It's a matter of trust. I sense honesty in your words, and so I believe you.

You can e-mail me also. Check my profile and you will be able to see my beliefs and that I am a Christian. I, like many others, have gone through difficult times and yet come out the victor because of my faith in Jesus. God Bless,

Get yourself down the nut house. Plenty of screaming loons, messiahs and others that have voices in their heads. They will probably be free too! FTW
