I know about Linus project , I've already given them some quilts but want to help out another charity as well. I called Angel flight but was told they no longer accept quilts. These are small children's quilts plus one for an older child or teen.

If you can't find anything in Australia, try St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis Tenn. in USA. You might just make a great partnership and start something there.
