i live in greenpoint brooklyn and im tryin to find some really beautiful places to take a girl out to mainly to hang out or to take out on a date. preferably places in brooklyn and queens. but also staten island and manhattan.

To add to places the others did not mention:
Staten Island
The Staten Island ferry itself is a terrific date place and romantic as well. Stand in front holding her while facing the breeze hitting the two of you. You pass close to the Statue of Liberty and coming back you get to see the skyline of Manhattan, especially romantic at night.
Brooklyn (it's where I live!)
Apart from the promenade, Prospect Park is a great place for a date, especially the Park Slope side of the park. There are the large grassy areas (have a picnic!) and the lake. Just be a bit careful to not go in at dark.
Go to Coney Island and the Boardwalk! While Astroland is closed, the boardwalk and beach is nice to walk along and of course you have to have a Nathan's Hot Dog while you are there! If you want to, you can also go to the Aquarium which is nice as well.
Besides the promenade, you can walk along the park that goes under the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges in DUMBO. It is a relatively undiscovered part of the city that is nice and has a beautiful view as well.
There are plenty of great places to eat in each neighborhood . . . Go to Junior's for dessert (Cheesecake) though I do not like their other food . . . Excellent ethnic restaurants on DeKalb Avenue in Ft. Greene and Clinton Hill.
