Research shows more and more that we are not that different from our primate cousins. Read the article on BBC "Monkey's show sense of justice"

If monkeys have a sense of justice, religion might not be the primary reason that humans have our 'sense of justice'.

If monkeys aren't that different from us, do you think most of them might believe in Gods like most humans do!?

Think of the word heiracy, and recall how taller men are more dominant, and link this with the concept of a "most high God". I would say that the seeds of religion are in primate social groups and troupes being lead and dictated to, so that there will be an analogy of "God" in a monkey troupe leader. However, I reckon that they cannot conceptualise so abstractly, as to be able to think of a God as wildly imaginitive as many of ours.

Difficult to say. Sense of justice may not mean belief in God. In any case monkeys are not that intelligent as human beings. They may not even have the concept of God.

I dont think religion is so much the centre of justice.
It would have to be 'power' of another godlike source such as a politician, the king or your team leader who all have been bestowed with fear provoking attitude by the Gods.

It the same way primates live in some similar sort of social hierarchy.

Monkeys have more sense than to believe in god.

Doubtful. But some people who say they believe in God live as if they don't....something of the monkey about that.

Read Genesis regarding creation of life both Human,Animal and vegetable, you will find that all share common attributes.
Plants(trees) have the ability of growth, Animals have this also but also have other greater attributes in that they enjoy senses and intelligence, Human beings have all these attributes of the former but on a higher plane, we have the added abilities of moral decision , we can enable compassion and justice, we have the gift of free will to decide wether our actions are good or evil and so much more.
This is the meaning of the statement of God in Genesis,`Let us make man in our image and give him dominion over the birds and cattle etc.
All life on Earth shares common creation similarities but man is the crowning glory of all other life and as such should never relegate himself to the lower lifeforms such as apes etc.

God believes in monkeys. He even believes in you. Now, stop this monkey business and read something.

All creatures believe in the One God, monkeys and others. We might be similar in behavior to mammals, but we were created through Prophet Adam.
