I suppose everyone (Christians and atheists) have the right to create their own gods. However, I can't see where it would be right for them to do so. For atheists, I don't see why they would want to create their own gods. I would say, though, that by rejecting God, they have, in fact, created their own god-one that says that sin is okay and one that says they don't have to own up or live up to a moral standard.

Notice I said that they don't have to live up to a moral standard. Many atheists still might live up to a moral standard that society may uphold, but because they don't believe in God, there's no eternal reason for them to be "good", not that any person is good, anyway.

Atheists deny that a higher being exists, thus the reason why the word atheist was created. A theist believes in a higher power and putting a in front of it means that they deny this higher power. Sure, they have a right to do that, but then they wouldn't be atheists.

Not seriously no, but that's what the Flying Spagetthei monster is for. And Hattiyah, I know an atheist that doesn't believe in any of those systems.

The true God is not created. The true God has always existed, and He is the only One God. No one but God can create the Universe
and know everything that is in it in details. There is no one like Him. God Is Unique!
There is only One God, there is only One Word to follow.
So No, according to the Word of God, you don't have the right to create your own gods.
Because God is your Creator, and the God of all flesh.

May God open your eyes to His Word...
Be blessed.

It is not a matter of it being a right.. It is just that if an individual believes in any gods, they become theistic.
