Like someone else said, use the bathroom. Hopefully there is a lock on that door. It always worked for me. You can also find privacy in outdoor areas sometimes (no people around of course!). Public restrooms with doors on the stalls work too. How about your room when your brother is not in it? Where there is a will, there is a way! As far as pillow humping, being on my side always worked best for me...but experiment! Have fun!

As for the privacy issue - does your room have a lock on it? If not, I like the chair against the door idea.
In regard to your second question, I can only answer with my own observation of how my wife humps her pillow. She lays on her stomach on top of her pillow in bed, and rocks back and forth to get herself off. Though I understand other masturbators hump pillows in different positions.
