Jesus said, "You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me" (John 5:39).

All of the Bible is about God, and His means of saving mankind. The Gospel, or Evangel, which is where we get our designation, is the "good news," that despite man's sin with its subsequent punishment in hell, Jesus steps in and provides an alternate route. By coming to God on His terms, we can have both a relationship with Him now, and an eternity of heavenly bliss ahead. Sin and hell is very bad, Jesus and heaven is very good.

But then, how do we live this new life in Christ, after we have embraced the Gospel? We follow the Bible, which is essentially God's manual for living:

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

the church is not made of wood and stones but is all around you and inside of you. the best bible is the one that tell you that you shall make your best for GOD, not to work for HIM. the one that tell you that you shall respect the men, women and kids. the animal world and this dear planet. the one that say that your mistakes are simply a way for you to learn your lessons and that they are always forgiven. the one that make you feel like a father and child bonding in love together. not scared of. me, i see GOD as my father , i talk to him every day and pray and ask and receive constantly. he did more for me then any human being ever did, and i never go to churches. a church is in reality a bunch of peoples talking about GOD, not a place. GOD judges us from what we have in the hearts not from our looks! and that is why that GOD also told us to be carefull about all the false prophets at the end of this time ( not the end of the world.) listen to your heart. GOD will tell you wich book to read. and it will just happen. you`ll pass by it and suddenly you may stop by it. just a look and your heart will simply beat up as you read the title. that`s how you know wich bible is the one for you to read or any other books in the matter, or even in any matters, LISTEN TO YOUR HEART, it`s the compass

As long as the Apostolic tradition, out of which the New Testament came and is its context, and the authority to interpret of the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church to interpret are rejected, there will be thousands of contradictory interpretations of the Bible by those who claim to go by the bible alone but actually interpret it according to their own traditions and replacements of church authority.

! Cor 11:2 St Paul taught:hold fast to the traditions( of God) handed down("traditioned")

2 Thess2:15 Hold fast to the Traditions, both oral and written(Old Testament and Paul's Letters)

2 Thess 3:6 Shun those who are acting against the Tradition(Oral teaching of the Apostles)

You shouldn't believe what the Bible says. Just recently they revised it and took out the word "Begotten", cause Jesus cannot be Begotten. If you're looking for God's words, perserved words, look at Islam and the Quran. Allah has promised no one will change his words, like the words that have been changed in the Bible.

Would you consider "women have semen" a very smart proclaimation by God? Very unscientific.

It is not the job of Christians to convince you of anything. If you've been told the basic message of God's plan of salvation, it's up to you whether you choose to believe it or not. The basic message of God's Word is "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved." There are literally hundreds of scriptures that explain it.

The self-authenticating, God-breathed Word, the Holy Bible, is sufficient for faith and practice.

People MAKE their own. Just to suit themselves.

There are actually no different interpretations.

The Bible means what it says, ans says what it means. God doesn't make mistakes, humans do.

To err is human, not to err is Divine.
