I chose a career, not just a job. So I don't mind so much that I'll spend 1/3 of my life at work....it's something I like doing.

It's not 1 third unless you work everyday. You also spend 1/3 of your life sleeping, so why are you not worried about that?Truthfully I enjoy working it gives your life meaning and I like the people at my work.

I agree with you. Of course I want more from life! That's why I'm working hard at escaping the so called "rat race" and having some financial freedom in later years. I want to work as a choice, not a necessity.

if you enjoy your work it's not work, and you're living how you want that extra 1/3 of the time :) personally I don't work so I've got all the free time in the world, lol
