I take it that the man is praying to God, the Father. If the man, for whatever reasons, is praying that God will take his life, that's between him and God. God does what God does. I have no doubt that God shows mercy on some who are suffering so badly. But if you're saying that a man has told you that he has prayed to die, and you're asking if it's nice (for you) to grant his wish - I say no. God is the author of life and death. It is the Father's decision.

Why would you do that?? Suicide is a cowardly act. If need help ask somebody. Go to a Pastor or Priest or to a counselor but don't let this world get you down to that point. Get out your Bible and read the Gospel of John. Jesus came to this earth, he came and payed our sin debt so that we might have life and have it more abundantly, Jesus Loves. He wants you to have a great life serving him. Turn your life over to Jesus, find a Church that preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ and turn your life around. You can do it. If I did it, you can, One man can do what another man can do. The old devil himself can't stop you from coming to Jesus if you don't want him to, over come his temptations, the Bible says he walking around as a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Keep your chin, the Sun will come up tomorrow, Good luck, please send me an email you have any questions, God Bless YOU

Anyone can pray for their own death and then take appropriate action to attain this end. Many elderly people are in this situation. If you are talking avbout euthanasia, the majority of the medical profession in the UK are 'dead' against it.

i bring life and death to you,
therefore choose life

ask and you shall recieve.

now when god created you he had things in mind that he wanted you to achieve for his kingdom before you die, but then again he gave you power of choice. some of the things you want god won't stop because he can't force his authority on you.
thi wish can be granted by satan himself or you but it doesn't mean god approves.why he never gives up on us.

you don't want to die full with ideas and things to share in this world.

in short its not nice because you'll leave without fullfiling you purpose

It's not our place to pray for a man to die, that's God's job. And Dellow, I don't have 'scientific proof' that prayer does work, where did you get 'scientific proof' that it doesn't??
;-))
