I don't know if you have ever heard of her, but Brooke Fraser has some amazing somes which are quite easy to sing and sound really great in

I personally stick with her most because my voice suits them and I love her powerful lyrics! Your voice sounds a bit like mine by the sounds of things...

you should look her up :)

It may seem a bit cliche, but you should try singing "Imagine" by John Lennon.
It's in the key of C,there are no sharps or flats..That will give you free range to practice what pitches and you can experiment with.
It's a beautiful song and you could jazz it up or slow it down depending on your tempo style or what kind of mood you want to give.
I hope that might help.Good Luck and sing on!!!

'Fever' is a great song that was written by Peggy Lee, and haas been covered by a myriad of artists, even Madonna.

Another singer to investigate -- and that is less risque -- is a singer named Sandy Denny. She did a beautiful song called 'The Sea,' which is great for someone with a contralto range.

Another fun one cold be 'Help Me' by Joni Mitchell. The last two song choices have much more dynamic ranges, and are wonderful to sing. "The River' is also amazing, but a very different mood.

Have fun!
