freckles, yes. moles, no.

moles have a pretty good chance of becoming cancerous, especially if you it is exposed to the sun often and tattoo artists (reputable ones anyway) won't do it because of that.

A mole is not the same thing as a freckle. A freckle is a little blotch that is not raised, a mole should look like a brown bump.

Moles may have hairs that should not be plucked, nor pricked. I would not have a tattoo on a mole, but the picture could probably be done around the mole. A freckle can safely be tattooed.

I have a lot of freckles, they can be tattooed over. HOWEVER, a mole is something a little more serious. Have it checked by a doctor for cancer cells BEFORE you put ink over it. You may even consider having the mole removed altogether. God forbid the cell structure changes, you get skin cancer....... and don't know it is evolving because it is covered with ink.

Tattoos would be okay over freckles, but you would have to blend in the mole with the tattoo. Not a good idea at all to tattoo a mole.

Absolutely not. Irritating a mole can cause them to become pre or post-cancerous. Tattooing over one will certainly irritate it.

Most tattoo artists tattoo AROUND a mole, but no decent artist would tattoo right over one.

I have seen mole incorporated into many, many tattoos. I think it'd be cool if you made it the center of your design.

it is not reccomened i used to work in a tattoo parlour but if uou can got to your doctor and get it removed then you can get a tattoo over the scar, that is ok to do. but make sure you give the wound pleanty of time to heal before you do this.
health wise this is your best option in my opinon but whenever in doubt please ask your tattooist they will give you the best advice.

Ewww tattoos are gross ... get your mole removed by your doctor (just say it keeps on itching and hopefully they'll remove it)
