I have a song called "State of Love and Trust" by Pearl Jam on my computer. Not only was it a live performance, but it was acoustic as well and STILL managed to drive the crowd crazy with how much it rocked.

In fact, I think I'm going to play that right now. :)

I like a wide variety of music, and some of it is rather bizzare.
But i'd say the best live song i've ever heard was by Roxette, i think it was "she's got the look" it was an MTV unplugged track, i should still have it somewhere. Might look it out when i get home and listen to it.

Best one i saw was Dancing In The Dark, Bruce Springsteen at Wembley Stadium back in the late 80's.

You can find it easily on You Tube. It knocked my socks right off!- You'll recognize it as one of the tunes from Shrek.
