I weigh 216lbs and I am trying to get to around 180lbs.
My workout consists of 30 min walk on treadmill, 15 min on bike and 15 min of stepper.
Would 3 times per week be enough? And is it true that I will not lose weight faster if I do it daily?

30 min walk and 15 min on a bike and stepper can be, and if that's your only exercise, should be done everyday. Also if you wanna lose fat your ganna have to diet too not just workout =| seriously though deciding to become healthier is so great ! wish ya luck xD

You should physically do some sort of exercise 7 days a week. Even though the typical "3 days a week" is a common response. Your body needs to be able to use the energy you feed it. Do something different every day. Park in the very back of walmrt parking lot, take steps instead of elevator, walk your dog the long way around neighborhood, cleaning burns calories especially vaccuming and scrubbing walls.. Walk, jog, do a exercise video, do crunches, or lift arm weights. Always use variety.

At least 3 times per week, 4-5 is even better if you can. Also, add strength training to the program...it's now been proven to be the best way to lose weight.
