Well I was thinking my dad and I could do this as a prank. My dad has horrible snoring so my mom forces him to sleep in my room sometiems and I sleep in my moms room on the floor with an air bed. I was thinking one weekend I could go to bed and about 15 minutes later have my dad sneak down stairs and start dropping a cup (like a plastic one) on the tile. Naturally if my mom hears something she looks down to where I am to see if its me becse I'm a klutz and very noisey. So then after she wakes up it'd stop and then about 5 minutes later it'd start again, then I would place my life size barbie on the couch having her sit up right or stand her in the middle of the dinning room (once when I was little I had a balloon and I left it right there and my mom came downstairs to get some water and it scared the living daylights out of her) and my mom would see it and be freaked out then my dad would jump out and scare her. What do you think, should we go through with it?. And we'd video tape it.

My mom is still young (about 47) and she isn't very jumpy so it wouldn't scare her to death. My dad said no anyways so my mom and i going to prank my dad instead nad put the doll at the foot of the bed instead. (p.s. my dad refuses to go to a doctor)

Personally, I wouldn't do it. If we did that to my mom she would probably be very hurt and angry. That prank sounds way to mean to do to your mother. I would hope your father wouldn't do something like that. If he would that's just a little bit immature.

That is sadistic and retarded.
I think you are missing some very important things here...
Look... get a watch with a second-hand and time the periods between your dad's snores... if there are long pauses and it sounds like he is fighting for his breath, he probably has a very health-threatening condition called SLEEP APNEA... he can literally suffocate and die from this.
At least get a tape recording going of how it sounds when he really gets going an hour or so after he goes to bed.
His doctor can write him a prescription for a C-pap sleeping machine, some drugs, and maybe even surgery to whittle the air passage in the back of his throat a bit wider.

No! I get scared really easy like your mom. It could make her cry! Don't do stuff where you jump out at people. It makes them freaked out. My sisters used to do this to me all the time and now I am kinda jumpy on loud noises
Think of something funnier like after your mom falls asleep trade places with your dad so he starts snoring again.

You would know your mom and whether she would find being woken up, scared and video-taped funny or not. Unless you really think she would find it hilarious, I would not do it. It might upset her, plus she probably does a lot at home for your family and needs her rest. That is my opinion, anyway.

you ought to pass each thing in his mattress room 3-5 inches to the left. whilst he is going in there, he will save working into issues in view that his physique "memorizes" the way around issues in the homestead.
