I'm walking through our old house and its COLD and dismal outside, and dark and dank inside, and I feel, wonderful, really GOOD! finally!
no more bright sunny hot days!
just pure ugly cold dark dankest or the dank days to come!

I've always preferred dark, dismal, and cold days to sunny, hot days.
Fortunately for ME, this past summer in south Texas has been one of the wettest summers on record. So, I ENJOYED several dark, wonderfully stormy, days this past summer.
The heat however, only compounded the humidity... so now, I will welcome cold fronts and cool fronts, rain and storms, sans the humidity.

Yeah! I love this cooler weather. I feel like I'm alive again. The summer heat and dryness was just too much.

As you get colder,we get warmer, and I am so far south we only get comfortably warm.
The spiders rats and mice are still waiting in our garage for you my dear, and I can always sneak out at night for a visit LoL.

You should try living in Canada. It gets cold up here. And it snows to eh? Like hockey is awesome, and we wouldn't have hockey if it were not for cold dismal days. I love hockey. I love snow too. I dunno, come visit in TO one year. Come during Christmas time.
