It's not like I was saving for some one special. It just never clicked. Lately I've been looking for some girls who would like to hang out with me, so far no success. I want to throw away my virginity, but I want to do my first with someone I can really like. There is this girl I've known since we were kids. We do have a thing for each other. I'm not sure if I should do it with her or find someone else. What do you guys think?

Don't listen to the people above me. It is weird. When you do get laid you will regret all the times you could have been but you didn't. Seriously. All the times. Well maybe not all but most. Your standards will drop drastically, and you will be kicking yourself in the butt for the high standards you used to have. Even if you get the girls you want, you will wish you would have tried some of the ones you didn't. Cause all girls are different, and they are all fun.
Clearly that dorfinee guy is still a virgin. Seriously. You can wake up 40 years down the road wondering what happened to your life. Live it to the fullest. Be safe and all. And with the whole regret it thing. Only girls regret. The only thing you will regret is catching a disease or having a kid with a woman you end up hating. But other than that sex is great. Doesn't matter who with. I suggest getting a girlfriend for a while cause you can try stuff with a GF that you won't dare with a fling. You don't want to freak a fling out. Besides its good to get some practice before you go play the field. Sure a free love lifestyle isn't for everyone, but you are asking for opinions and this is mine. In fact it is probably the most widely held opinion for males our age. At least males with better things to do than yahoo answers. Still you don't want to screw up your friendship. If she is the one then stick with her. Its not like you have to be a whore, but you should be getting laid by now. Once again good luck.

Nothing is weird unless you believe it to be. Don't listen to anyone but yourself. You are the only person who knows what's going on in your heart and mind. I don't mean to sound like a sex-ed teacher, but sex is a normal and natural part of life, so it's no wonder you are wondering about why you haven't already 'done the deed' (if that's what they call it these days, haha). But at the same time, you have high standards for yourself, and don't want to go for just any girl. Still, keep in mind that everyone is human; you might not find your one and only, so go out with friends and socialize-- you never know who you'll meet. As for the girl you already like (and who likes you back too), try hanging out with her more...but not just so you can have sex with her. Once you guys hang out more, things may get to a point where you're both comfortable having sex with each other. The main thing to remember is that only you will know when it feels right to go ahead and lose your virginity. And as for the girls who think it's weird that you're still a virgin, you could do without them anyway.

No, it's not weird at all. Sometimes it just doesn't work, like you said, 'it just never clicked'. So, there's no use pushing it ("I want to throw away my virginity). Age doesn't matter . It's all about timing. It happens to a lot of people, when you are with the right person, but at the wrong place and time. Or maybe the feelings and chemistry between you and your partner isn't in-tune yet, if you get what I mean. So, be cool, man. Virgin guys are cool in their own ways cos they don't do it just because they wanna do it. They do it for love. So, treasure your virginity. Good luck!

sounds like you're getting the pressures get to you a little bit...you know what? The really good and sincere girls will appreciate and respect the fact that you're a virgin for whatever reason it is...whether it didn't click or you're waiting or not...these type of girls will stick with you til the very end, loyal, and sincerely caring - don't just throw it away...the fact that you are getting older, the more conscious you are of things, you take more value in things when you're in your 20's...those 16 yr old kids don't know anything so when they throw it away it's not a big deal...until they're about your age and meet the girl of their dreams and wish they might haev had a chance to save it for her...don't throw it away...honestly, just wait 'til the right girl comes because it will be worth it

That guy preacher is a clown. I was 21 when I lost mine, and I was in college in a fraternity, the place where people are supposed to get laid all the time. I did it for the first time with the girl it really clicked with for the first time, believe me it's worth the wait. Never regret anything in this aspect of your life, the people who do it all the time demean the meaning of it! If you feel like it clicks with this girl then go for it, but if not, then don't, you'll only feel bad about it.
I'm 25 now, and have only been with a couple people, and I've realized there's so much more to life than sex! Sex is just one of those things that makes a great relationship better and all others less than that worse! If you have to think about it, wait!

Don't let anyone make you feel bad for being a virgin. Don't forget that you're unique and special and when you're ready to have sex you'll have it. What's so wrong about waiting for someone special? You only have your first time once in a lifetime. As for the girl if she is special to you and its something you want I say go for it. Just make sure you don't regret anything by doing something you're not ready for.

Not really, your probably busy living life and sex is not your top priority. Find frinds who can help you with the socializing and at all cost be yourself. I was 26 the first time, and boy was it worth waiting for.
